In-Kind Donations

We’re ready for your donations!

We specialize in quality used goods including a variety of house hold items in addition to:

  • Dishes: new and interesting
  • Clothing: lady’s, men’s, children’s, vintage
  • Jewellery
  • Games, puzzles, books, videos
  • Collectables
  • Wedding dresses, tuxedos

We welcome both new and quality used items.

What is a quality item?

  • Dishes with no cracks or chips
  • Clothing that is not worn-out, torn or stained
  • Small counter-top appliances in good working order
  • Games with all pieces
  • Toys in good condition

We ask your cooperation in dropping off donations ONLY during our open hours, Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as your valuables may disappear, if left unattended.   We are willing to make a special arrangement for drop off by appointment if this time is impossible for you.  Thanks!

We look forward to seeing you again and again. We are always refreshing the shelves, so stop by regularly for great bargains and at the same time lend your support for a community we are trying to assist.

Volunteers / Trainees

We are always in need of volunteers and trainees for general work throughout the year. It can be done for an hour or for a day. You let us know the time you have in your already busy life to give back to the community.

Some of the work our volunteers/trainees do includes:

  • sorting and pricing quality used clothing and other items for the shelves and racks
  • preparing and pricing toys and other household items
  • checking for quality consistency
  • learning basic work ethics and skill-training on the cash register and computer

Census 2006 stated that next to public administration, the retail industry is our largest employer in New Brunswick.

  1. I wish that you were based here in Saint John. I frequently “purge” my closets, cupboards and other storage spaces of things that I no longer need but know that someone else would appreciate. It can be a challenge to find good homes for my castoffs, ensuring they’ll land in the hands of someone who could really use them.
